Four weeks, special insights, excellent guests and a fantastic spot at Prenzlauer Berg! Our first pop up weeks were a big success and we are happy about such a great start for KITCHENTOWN Berlin.
FROM BRANDING TO SALES
We talked about how to build a brand in the functional food market and what challenges entrepreneurs are facing. Further, a great discussion with Gareth Robinson showed how essential a digital marketing strategy is to simply multiply your impact. But still, a great product is not everything. You need to find the right way to get your product into the market and to your customers. With great advice from our friends from How I Like as well as from EDEKA Food Starter, the community learned about how to spread the product efficiently. Not to forget is the right funding strategy for your food startup – Nicolas Hantzsch from Oyster Bay provided insights from one of the biggest VC funds in the food industry.
Understanding the ecosystem
Food startups need to find the right business model and their USP differentiating them from all other businesses out there. Understanding the ecosystem is crucial – especially when you would like to expand your business internationally. Kristian and Katharina from Copenhagen gave great input what needs to be taken into account when entering the food startup world of our northern neighbors.
A GREAT COMMUNITY
Many thanks to all our inspiring speakers from great startups like Nouri, BROX, Nu+Organics, Nuri for Babies and buah, Tsampa and Sens as well as Keatz and How I Like. We are happy about our guests from Edeka food starter and Gareth as well as our guests from Copenhagen Kristian and Katharina. Special thanks to our partners: The Female Founder Academy, Fabio and Bastian and their Food Tech Meetup and the Vegan Entrepreneurs Berlin. Looking forward to future joint events!
We strengthened our community relations and learned a lot about the existing challenges and open questions of food startups! The next meetups will take place in November!
