Four weeks, special insights, excellent guests and a fantastic spot at Prenzlauer Berg! Our first pop up weeks were a big success and we are happy about such a great start for KITCHENTOWN Berlin.


We talked about how to build a brand in the functional food market and what challenges entrepreneurs are facing. Further, a great discussion with Gareth Robinson showed how essential a digital marketing strategy is to simply multiply your impact. But still, a great product is not everything. You need to find the right way to get your product into the market and to your customers. With great advice from our friends from How I Like as well as from EDEKA Food Starter, the community learned about how to spread the product efficiently. Not to forget is the right funding strategy for your food startup – Nicolas Hantzsch from Oyster Bay provided insights from one of the biggest VC funds in the food industry.

Food startups need to find the right business model and their USP differentiating them from all other businesses out there. Understanding the ecosystem is crucial – especially when you would like to expand your business internationally. Kristian and Katharina from Copenhagen gave great input what needs to be taken into account when entering the food startup world of our northern neighbors.
